My Services
Psychotherapy
As a Toronto psychotherapist, I will help you increase your self awareness, resolve your emotional issues and feel better about yourself. I offer psychotherapy in Toronto to adults and adolescents. We meet once or twice a week on a regular basis to talk about your feelings and difficulties in life.
Psychoanalysis
The goal of psychoanalysis is an in-depth understanding of your personality with a view to increasing your self-awareness, establishing a strong, cohesive self, and transforming your life. I offer psychoanalysis to individual adults. We meet four times a week on a regular basis to explore deep-seated patterns of feeling, thinking and relating.
Marriage Counseling
The goal of marriage counseling is to increase your awareness of the meaning of what goes on between you, help you understand your partner’s subjective experiences while accepting your own, develop your ability to resolve conflicts, and promote intimacy. The three of us meet once a week on a regular basis to explore your communication patterns.
Supervision
Supervision is designed to make you a more empathic and effective therapist. I offer supervision to psychotherapists of all theoretical orientations who are interested in learning more about the theory and techniques of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I also offer supervision to psychoanalysts in training.
Psychotherapy for Depression
When you feel sad, worthless and unable to enjoy your life for an extended period of time, you are likely depressed and need psychotherapy. Research has shown that most depressed people get better with treatment. Psychotherapy for depression helps people identify and deal with the causes of their depression, leading to a more positive outlook on life.
Psychotherapy for Anxiety
You may suffer from excessive worry, panic attacks, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms that interfere with your life and even your physical health. Psychotherapy for anxiety provides an in-depth understanding of the meanings of these fears and a substantial relief from symptoms.
